Kate and her kitty

Hi my name is Kate and I am here today to talk about my kitten. She is 6 years old. I'm 8 years old. Shadow is cute and active, and she loves me. I am her owner. My mom got her for $2 from two ladies who lived in a hotel room. They put an ad in the paper to give kittens away. They had a lot of kittens in their hotel room. My mom said it wasn't a very nice hotel. I don't think Shadow had a very nice life there. When she came to live with us she scratched me a lot. We had to get her claws taken out. She started sitting like a rabbit after that, on her back legs. She also couldn't use the litter box at first because she couldn't get litter in her paws.
Now Shadow is really used to living with us. She doesn't scratch much. Sometimes she scratches with her back claws. She is really lovable, fun to play with, and sometimes grouchy. But so am I.
